A nina.gg mailbox is a classic private account: one address, one password, one owner. Under the glassy surface sits a stack of modern security protocols working quietly on your behalf.
TLS 1.3 in transit
Every connection between your browser, your mail app, and nina.gg is wrapped in TLS 1.3 with HSTS enforced. Nobody on the wire can read or tamper with your mail — not your café's Wi-Fi, not your ISP, not anyone.
AES-256 at rest
Messages are stored encrypted with AES-256-GCM, the same standard banks and governments rely on. On our disks your mail is pure ciphertext — unreadable without the encryption keys.
Argon2id password hashing
Your password is never stored in plain text. It is hashed with Argon2id, the winner of the Password Hashing Competition — memory-hard and built to resist brute-force attacks, even if our database were ever breached.
Two-factor authentication
Add a second lock with TOTP codes from any authenticator app. Even if your password ever leaked, it alone would not be enough to open your inbox.

Yes — every @nina.gg mailbox is free, forever. No credit card, no trial, no catch. We think email should be as easy as opening an umbrella.
Classic and private. When you claim your address you set a password, and from then on only you can open your inbox. Your password is stored as an Argon2id hash — never in plain text.
In transit, every connection uses TLS 1.3 with HSTS. At rest, your messages are encrypted with AES-256-GCM. And you can add two-factor authentication for a second lock on the door.
